I woke up and rolled over, going to pull my boyfriend, Louis, closer to me for warmth. I was meet with the cold sheets of an empty bed. My eyes flashed open, and I noticed a little red ribbon around my wrist. I looked at it curiously, then sat up. I looked at it, noticing a little not changing from it. I took the ribbon off, opening the mini note and reading it.
“I’ll never regret going to that concert. -L xx” It read. I smiled widely, remembering that we first meet at a The Fray concert. I noticed another ribbon tied around the door to the bathroom. I rushed over, grabbing it and reading the note.
As soon as I walked into the house I felt out of place. There were people everywhere, girls in mini skirts and guys with their pants by their ankles. Whereas I was dressed casually. Just a simple striped shirt, jeans, bangles, a hat and a pair of converse. Oops.
“INGRID!” I heard someone shout over the music. I turned and saw Louis, my best friend. “Lou!” I said, hugging him. “You want a drink?” He asked, putting his hand on the small of my back and leading my through the house. I tried to protest but soon enough there was a red solo cup in my hand. I sighed, deciding not to drink it. Lou smiled cheekily before turning for a second. The next he was gone.

Tonight was my eighteenth birthday. Niall had promised to swing by and take me to the beach, he sad he had planned a surprise for me. I grinned to myself as I dressed, making sure to put on a wrist full of bracelets so Niall wouldn’t see my scars. He couldn’t. They’d scare him. Cause nobody understood how I felt when I cut. But after meeting Niall, it’s gotten better.
He was the best thing that had ever happened to me. Ever since childhood, I had always been teased for my weight. Only my parents would be the ones who called me beautiful, no boy ever did. I was petite, and sort of chubby. But Niall saw past all that.
I put on a black maxi dress, cause everyone always said black was slimming. My phone began to play He’s the One by Hannah Montana, the stupid ringtone that Niall set for himself.
“Come downstairs princess, your carriage awaits.” His voice sounded in my ears, and I hung up the phone, grabbed my purse, and ran downstairs out the front door. My breath hitched as I saw him leaning against an actual white limousine, wearing a dashing suit. Seemed a bit silly for beach attire, but I wasn’t about to complain. Anything that made Niall look this way, I was a huge fan of.
“I have a surprise for you.” Niall announced grandly before I opened the passenger door. I closed it, my heart thumping with anticipation.
“It’s a bracelet, actually a family heirloom. My father gave it to my mother when he felt that she was the one for him, and now I’ve continued that tradition. Here, you’re supposed to wear it on your left wrist.” Niall brought my wrist up to his, and I gulped as he pulled back the bracelets covering the scars. His eyes widened, his mouth dropped.
I stood there for what seemed like eternity, gauging his reaction. His blue eyes filled with worry, he looked up at me.
“How long?” He simply asked.
“I’ve been better since you.” I answered truthfully, and Niall smiled brilliantly as a tear fell from his eye. He slid the bracelet onto my wrist, and kissed my hand before pulling me towards him.
“Amy, you’re perfect just the way you are. You’re unique. Irreplaceable. I love you more than anything, because you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Remember that, baby girl. I love you.I love all the little things about you.”
“Do we have to watch a scary movie?” I asked, biting my lip. “Yeah, get over it.” Lou said. I sent him a glare before turning to Liam and pouting a bit.
“You know you can always cuddle with me, babe.” Harry said, sending me a wink. I rolled my eyes, sitting next to him on the couch since I knew I’d end up hiding my face in his chest anyway.
Thunder rippled from the sky, a strip of lightning flashed and I let out a scream. Clutching onto Harry’s hand. We were just about to start the movie. The lights flickered and the tv went black. Soon enough, it was pitch black.
“Oh my God,” I whispered, clutching onto Harry. “I’m going to find a candle.” He said, getting up. I let go, grabbing onto the next closest person, Zayn.
“Z, are we gonna die?” I whimpered. “Oh, calm down, Drama Queen. We’re not gonna die.” Louis said from the other side of the room.
“I’m ignoring you.” I stated, still squeezing Zayn’s hand. Soon enough there was a flash of light and Louis was right in my face, holding a candle. I screamed, causing him to laugh loudly. I glared at him, taking the candle and putting it on the table.
An hour later the whole room was covered in candles and we each had a flash light. “7 minutes in heaven!” Liam called out happily. Louis and I both groaned.
“I’m the only girl here, guys.” I stated, giving them a blank stare. Harry grinned, winking at me. “Maybe we’ll get lucky.” He said jokingly. I laughed, pushing him lightly.
“Why? Why are you guys so mean to me?” I asked as I reached into the bag. I pulled out a pair of glasses which I knew were Louis’. I groaned, but my heart thumped hard in my chest. Could they hear it? I prayed silently to myself that they couldn’t.
“Let’s get this over with.” Louis grumbled. “Okay, 10 minutes!” Harry said, slamming the door to the roomy closet. “What?” I asked, glaring at the door.
I sighed, sliding down the wall. I turned my flashlight on and looked around. “What are we supposed to do for 10 minutes?” I asked, frowning. Louis shrugged, sliding down the wall across from me. I sighed, resting my chin on my knees.
A few minutes later the light flickered on and I smiled. I heard the guys cheering from outside the door, and soon enough the tv was on.
“It’s been 20 minutes,” Lou said, banging his fist on the door. I groaned, hearing their laughter. “Of course they’re watching some sort of comedy, right?” I asked, resting my head on the wall.
I closed my eyes, hoping I could just fall asleep. “El?” Louis asked. I opened my eyes and looked over at him. He looked back at me, his blue eyes filled with confusion.
“Do you really hate me as much as you say?” He asked, biting his lip lightly. He blushed, turning away from me. “Uh,” He coughed. “Nevermind.” He said, avoiding my eye contact.
“Maybe not as much as I say.” I said softly, still watching him. He lifted his head to look at me and smiled lightly. “Do you hate me at all?” He asked.
I bit my lip and shook my head. His grin grew into a smile, then into a smirk. “Do you like me?” He asked, he moved over next to me and sat in my personal bubble.
“Um, no. Not at all. Nope, never.” I said, avoiding his eyes. I felt my cheeks start to turn red and he let out a chuckle. “You like me!” He said, smiling widely. I shook my head, my cheeks giving away my lie.
I moved my head, letting my hair fall as a shield between me and him. “I like you, too.” He said. I looked at him through my hair and saw that he was staring at me, waiting for me to move my hair.
He huffed, lifting his hand and moving my hair out of my face. “I really like you, El. That’s why I was always so mean I… I didn’t want to fall for anyone.” He said, his thumb rubbing circles onto my cheek. I searched his eyes for any hint of a lie.
“I can’t say the same. I hated you for a while but… eventually started to like you. I don’t know how or when…” I said, trailing off. He smiled, his eyes crinkling a bit.
“I’m going to kiss you now.” He said, his face moving closer to mine. “Tell me to stop if you want me to.”
I didn’t. I let his face get dangerously close to mine, and I let his lips hover over mine for a few seconds before I grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him down so his lips crashed onto mine.
Our lips moved together slowly and he pulled away after a few seconds, smiling. I smiled back at him. He kissed me again, this time with more passion. Our lips moved against each other like a dance. Right now, he was in the lead.
His tongue poked at my lip and I closed my eyes, opening my mouth for him. His hands grabbed at my waist, pulling me closer to him as he lightly pushed me back with his shoulders to lay down. He was hovering over me, his elbows by my head so he wasn’t crushing me and his tongue frantically searching my mouth.
My hands knotted themselves in his hair, tugging and playing with it and earning many playful sounds from him. I decided he’s had enough after a while and pushed him. I rolled on top of him and attached my lips to his again. I poked my tongue at his lips and he opened them instantly, without a second thought. Our tongued battled for dominance as his hands played with the hem of my button up shirt.
His hands slipped under my shirt and around to the small of my back, tracing patters onto my lower back. I sighed, pulling at the top of his shirt and helping him take it off.
“Fuck you,” I said, attaching our lips again. I dominated him easily, my tongue roaming his mouth and my hands tracing the lines of his abs.
He shivered and I smiled. He pushed me back like I did to him and was hovering above me, a smirk on his face. He kissed me again, his fingers undoing my shirt buttons slowly, teasing me after each button was undone. He’d move his lips from mine and kiss down my neck, down to the button, and back up.
“Jesus,” I said, finishing the buttons and flipping us over again. I started to fumble with his belt when I heard laughter. I gasped, noticing Harry’s laugh from a mile away.
“What the fuck, Haz!” Louis yelled, flipping me over and covering me with his body from his best friends view. “You were going to take her here? In a closet?” Harry asked, his smirk growing at the thought. I blushed, glaring at him.
“Fuck off, Harry.” I said. He chuckled, lifting his hands up in defense. “We’re going to watch that movie now, you two want to join us? Only if you promise to keep the PDA down.” He said, glaring a bit at us.
“Fine, fine. Just go.” Lou said, still glaring at his friend. Harry closed the door and I closed my eyes, letting out a breath. I chuckled, opening my eyes and looking at Lou who was now hovering over me.
“What’s so funny?” He asked. I just smiled. I lifted my hand and traced his nose with my forefinger. “Funny, I wouldn’t have let you take me here anyway.” I said, leaning up and kissing him lightly before slipping out from under him and buttoning up my shirt again.
“You were more than willing to have this.” He said, pulling his shirt on over his body. I bit my lip, smiling a bit knowing he was right. “Maybe,” I said, standing and opening the door. I walked out ahead of Louis, hearing the woof whistling and the cat calling from the guys.
“Oh shut up,” Lou said, rolling his eyes with a smile and sitting down on the couch. He grabbed my waist, pulling me onto his lap. He kissed the back of my neck lightly, letting me slide off him so my legs were in his lap.
“Do we really have to watch a scary movie?” I asked, pouting a bit. “Yes,” Louis said. “Get over it, babe.” He said, kissing my forehead. It wasn’t a scary movie at all. Louis and I snuck kisses here and there when a thought crossed my mind.
“Lou?” I asked very softly. “What are we?” I asked him, biting my lip nervously.
He smiled, kissing me. “Well, you’re what’s called a ‘boyfriend’ and I’m what’s called a ‘girlfriend’ at least, I think that’s how it goes.” He said. I covered my mouth with my hand to muffle my laughter. “Alright, girlfriend.” I said, kissing his cheek and turning my attention back to the TV.
I really like this one:)
“Ow!” I yelled, feeling something pinch my shoulder. “Fuck,” I muttered, trying to look at it. “What’s wrong, love?” Louis asked, coming over to me.
I started to feel dizzy and held my head. “Crap,” I said, but it sounded ages away. Next thing I knew I was falling, and everything went black.
“Doniieeshaa! Doniieeshaa! Wake up!” A voice brought me back. I opened my eyes and saw the boys looking over me. “What?” I asked, rubbing my head. My auburn hair hair was wet so I looked down at my body to see my clothes sticking to me and a few towels wrapped around me.
“What happened?” I asked, looking from Harry to Lou, to Liam to Zayn to Niall. “You were stung by a wasp,” Lou said, frowning. “Then you fell in the lake.” Harry added.
I gasped and tried to get up. Niall helped me and I thanked him lightly. I pushed the towel from around my shoulders to see it was red and swollen. “Shit,” I said, biting my lip.
“Come here, Doniieeshaa. Let me clean you up.” Liam said, taking my arm lightly and directing me away from the other boys. “I’ll help!” Niall called, running up behind us. I nodded, trying to avoid my swollen shoulder and, instead, focus on the five boys with me.
I sat at home with my baby girl cradled in my arms, biting my lip. I wanted to meet him at the airport, but there would be far too many people there and would scare little Paige. So I decided to wait at home in our two bedroom flat and wait for Daddy to come home. Paige whimpered in my arms, moving in her sleep closer to me as she snuggled up to my chest. I smiled, reaching down to place a kiss on her forehead.
“Daddy will be home soon, sweetie.” I whispered to her. I looked back up to the TV which was on low volume, watching some show that came back from when I was little. I heard her whimper again and looked down to see her eyes shining brilliantly at me. I smiled at her, she has the same shade of blue as her father.
I was taken out of my little day dream by the door opening and the love of my life walking through the doorway. I smiled widely, standing up quickly and making my way over to him. He dropped his bag and smiled at me, wrapping his arms around me and our baby girl. “Paige,” He whispered, planting a kiss on my lips before taking her out of my arms. We moved to the living room as he sat there and talked to Paige for hours, keeping her smiling and giggling the whole time.
“I wish I could have been here.” He whispered to me once she was asleep. We both walked up to her room and he placed her in her crib. “I wish I was here when you found out, when your bump started to show… I wish I could have gone out at midnight for crazy cravings. Anything. I wish I was here.” He said to me, kissing me lightly.
“I love you so much.” He whispered, his eyes still closed. I closed mine as well, smiling.
“I love you too.” I told him. He moved away from me and I opened my eyes to see him kneeling down on one knee in front of me. He dug through his pocket and pulled out a box. He opened it and pulled something out of it, showing it to me.
“Then marry me?” He asked. I smiled widely, looking at the ring in his hands, then up into his eyes. “Of course,” I whispered, grabbing his collar and pulling him up to press my lips against his.
“I love you so much.” I said, smiling as he took my hand and placed the ring on the fourth finger on my left hand. “Not as much as I love you.” He replied with a goofy smile, kissing me again.
I ran through the crowd, lost, trying to find my group of friends. “Fuck,” I cursed under my breath as I continued to search.
I turned to my left, looking, and bumped into something - or someone - to my right. “I’m so sorry!” I said, turning and coming face to face with a guy who looked to be about my age.
He was tall, and slim. He had brown, shaggy hair and blue eyes. He had a bit of stubble on his chin, he looked gorgeous. He chuckled, it was a deep sound that caused me to smile with him. “It’s no problem, you look lost.” He said, looking around, as if he knew where my friends were.
“Actually… um, well, my friends can wait.” I said, smiling at him. That was the moment we became best friends.
About a week later I was at Lou’s house, the boy I bumped into - literally - at the festival. We sat on his couch in our pajamas, watching a movie and eating pop corn. My legs were in his lap, his hands resting on them and making shapes on the skin.
I smiled at the film, tearing up a bit. “That’s just so cute!” I cried out, sniffing and wiping my eyes. Lou chuckled, smiling over at me. “Yeah, I hope I have that someday.” He said.
I nodded, agreeing with him. “That would be fantastic, just too… too perfect.” I said, smiling a bit, going off and day dreaming. “So, I’m glad we both agree. I want that… with you.” He said, breaking my from my little world.
I turned to him to see he had a confident smirk on his lips, his eyebrows raised a little, his blue eyes shining brightly. I stared at him blankly for a minute before I realized that he was serious and smiled widely at him.
“Really?” I asked softly, almost whispering and begging him to just tell me if he was joking.
He nodded. “Do you want it with me?” He asked, hope clear in his voice. I nodded, smiling and moving closer to him. “Yeah, I do.” I said, smiling widely at him and kissing his lips lightly.
“I do.” I said with a giggle, kissing his cheek.
He slammed his fists angrily against the wall. I pleaded, “Stop, Harry. You’re hurting yourself. It’s okay. Really, I’m fine. It’s just going to hurt for a few days, then it’ll be a scar, and then it’ll go away. Don’t do this to yourself.”
He turned around and faced me, his eyes overflowing with tears and darkness. I cupped his face in my hands, and gently pressed my lips to hiss. He whispered against them, “I don’t deserve, you Katie.”
Her hazel orbs sparkled as she stared at me, and I lovingly stroked her cheek. She shuddered at my touch, and I smirked to myself before coming across the mark on her cheek that I had just inflicted.
She read the pain in my eyes as I turned away again, muttering, “I can’t do this. I can’t hurt you like that again Katie. You need to leave.”
Her hands found my back again and she whispered, “I’m not leaving you Harry. I love you.”
My heart soared as I whirled around and grabbed her, crushing her to my chest. A tear escaped my eye as I kissed the top of her head, “I love you too Katie.”
“I’m nervous, Lou.” I said, holding my boyfriend’s hand. Most girls were nervous about meeting their boyfriend’s family, but I grew up with them. I grew up just across the street from the Tomlinson’s and was best friends with Louis growing up. So, the next thing to be worried about, is meeting the band. Aka: The Best Friends.
“You weren’t nervous when you meet my family,” He said, rubbing circles on the back of my hand. He had one hand on the steering wheel, the other holding mine. “I grew up with them, I was nervous for about three minutes when you introduced me as your girlfriend and that left as soon as they said they saw it coming. But I’ve never meet them before… what if they don’t like me?” I asked, biting my lip.
“That’s rubbish, they’ll love you!” Louis said, shooting me a quick smile before turning back to the road. I just continued to bite my lip. “Stop that, you’re going to draw blood, babe.” Lou said, reaching over and poking my lip, causing me to smile a bit.
“I just want them to like me. I know how much they mean to you…” I said, nervously tapping my fingers on my thigh. “They’ll love you. And you mean a lot to me, too. They’re nervous too, you know.” He said to me, bringing my hand to his lips. He kissed the back of my hand lightly before resting out hands in between us.
A few minutes later Louis stopped in a parking lot and we both got out of the car. He met up with me in the front of the car and took my hand in his. The paps had a field day. We pushed through them and into a restaurant, which was packed. Lou pushed to the front, his hand glued to mine. We were immediately brought to a back room where I heard a lot of talking and laughter. I took a deep breath and felt Lou give my hand a reassuring squeeze. he leaned down and pecked my lips lightly.
“I love you, Mahima. You’ll do great.” He whispered with a huge smiled before we walked into the room.
I sat on the couch in my flat and flipped through the channels on the tv. My boyfriend of two years today is still out on tour. He’s half way across the world celebrating our anniversary with a million girls who are throwing themselves at him. I sighed to myself at the thought, trying to find something good to watch. I settled on watching Ellen, smiling as I saw her dancing through the crowd.
I eventually made myself a hot bowl of oatmeal, sitting back down onto my warm couch and letting our dog, Mittens, sit next to me on the couch. Don’t be fooled, because he is a large German Shepherd. He put his head in my lap and looked up at me, his big brown eyes looking sad. “I miss him too.” I whispered, patting the top of his head and eating more of my oatmeal.
“BRE! Come with me, now!” Someone yelled, walking into my flat. I turned to see my good friend Danielle. “But… I’m in my pajamas still.” I said, frowning as she pulled me up off the couch. She looked at me and bit her lip. “Fine, get ready.” She said, huffing and sitting on the couch in my spot, petting Mittens.
I came back out in a nice but casual outfit to see an impatient Danielle pacing through my living room. “Finally!” She cried, rolling her eyes at me and dragging me out of Lou and I’s flat and down to her car.
She drove for a few minutes before she jumped out and urged me to follow her quickly. “Dani, what the hell are we doing!?” I snapped, starting to get a little impatient and angry with her. “Just come! You’ll thank me later!” She said, grabbing my hand with the biggest smile ever on her face. I sighed, letting her drag me through the park in the center of the city.
“Why are we here?” I asked Dani softly, remembering that this is where I - literally - bumped into Louis for the first time. He knocked us over under the willow tree while running away from fans and smiled at me, laughing a bit.
“I’m so sorry,” He said to me, helping me up. “It’s fine,” I said, brushing the grass off my shirt. He said “bye” before running off. Three days later I decided to go read in the park, only to find him sitting in the exact place where we bumped into each other. He ran over to me with a huge smile, saying that every day he came hoping to see me again.
“Um, well, you’ll see.” Dani said, still dragging me through the park. With a frown set on my face she continued to drag me until we were under the willow tree. Dani stopped and smiled at me. “Stay here,” She instructed before running off.
“What the fuck, Dani!?” I called out, now extremely angry that she dragged me here for nothing. I shook my head, turning and about to head back home when I bumped into someone. We both ended up on the ground and I looked at the other person to see my beautiful boyfriend smiling down at me.
“I’m so sorry,” He said to me, helping me up. “It’s fine,” I said, smiling a bit at the memory that he just recreated. I half expected him to say, “bye” then run off but he didn’t. His arms stayed at my waist and he smiled widely at me.
“I missed you so much.” He said, hugging me tightly. “I missed you too.” I whispered in his ear, kissing it after. “How much?” He asked, pulling away to look at me.
“What do you mean how much? With every fiber of my being. I can’t even describe how much…” I trailed off with a slight blush on my face. He smiled widely and kissed me lightly.
He let go of my waist and my smile fell a bit. He knelt down in front of me and I looked at him weirdly. He pulled something out of his pocket and held it in his palm.
“Then marry me?” He asked, holding his hand out. In the middle of his palm was a gorgeous diamond ring. I smiled widely, tears now starting to fall out of my eyes.
“Of course, Lou.” I said, pulling him up by his suspenders and pressing my lips against his passionately. “Yes, yes. Yes, I’ll marry you.” I said, smiling widely. He wiped my cheeks and kissed me again. He pulled away after a second and slipped the ring onto my finger.
“I love you so much, Breanna.” Louis said to me, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me tightly against him. “I love you too, Louis.” I said, winking at him and kissing him again.

“Why me?” I whispered, sitting on my bed with tears rolling down my cheeks. I sniffed, grabbing a tissue and rubbing the tears off my face then blowing my nose. Ugh, gross. There was a knock at the door and I groaned, throwing my body back into my pillow, taking one and covering my face with it.
“Go away!” I shouted, even though it was muffled by the pillow. “I’m coming in!” A voice outside the door said. The door opened and I looked out from my pillow to see my best friend Louis walk in.
“I don’t wanna talk.” I told him, more tears falling down my face.
“You don’t need to,” He said, sitting on my bed and pulling me close to him in a tight embrace. “Just let it out.” He whispered, kissing the top of my head. And so I cried. I cried more than I’ve ever cried before. I cried over the fact I lost most of my family, over the fact that it was my fault. Over the fact that my ‘boyfriend’ couldn’t handle a girl with so many problems.
Problems. I have way too many. I mean, I lost most of my immediate family in an airplane wreck. The only reason I didn’t go to an orphanage is because my older brother is 18 and can legally take care of me until I turn 18 in a few weeks. I should have problems. I should.
“It’s all my fault,” I whimpered, sobbing into Lou’s chest. “No, no it’s not.” He whispered, kissing the top of my head again.
“Yes it is, Lou! I’m the one who got them the tickets. I booked the hotel, I did everything! I planned the whole thing!” I shouted, sobbing some more. “It’s all my fault.” I cried, still huddles up under Lou’s strong arms.
“Look at me,” Lou said, pulling me gently away from his chest. I wiped my eyes and looked up into his crystal blue ones. “It’s not your fault. You could have never known. It could happen to anyone.” He said to me, bringing a hand to my face. His thumb brushed tears away as I sniffed lightly.
“It’s not your fault. You need to stop thinking like that, they wouldn’t want you to think it was your fault.” He told me. “It wasn’t your fault, okay Nicholee?” He asked. I nodded slightly and smiled a bit at him. I grabbed another tissue, wiping my face and nose.
“Thanks, Lou. I love you.” I said, throwing my tissue away. I looked at him and smiled a bit. He could never know that I actually mean it, he never will know. “I love you too, Nicholee.” He said and hugged me.
He pulled away from the hug a bit and looked down at me. “I hate seeing pretty girls cry.” He whispered, wiping my face some more. He kissed my forehead and I closed my eyes, letting out a slow breath to calm myself down. He called me pretty, he kissed my forehead.
He kissed my nose next, then both my cheeks. I opened my eyes to see him smiling at me. His eyes darted down to my lips, and mine looked down at his for a brief moment before looking back into his eyes.
He leaned forward and rested his forehead on mine. “I really do love you, Nicholee.” He said with a small smile. For real? “I’m in love with you.” He told me, still smiling. I returned the smile, pushing my face up for my lips to meet his.
It was a slow kiss, steady, yet passionate. It only lasted about three seconds, but it was the best three seconds of my life. Until he kissed me again. “I love you, too.” I said to him with a huge smile. He kissed me again and I slowly became addicted to his kisses.
With each new kiss I found myself craving more. More of his loving touch, his kisses, his words. I love him. Everything about him. From how he hates to wear socks to the way his eyes crinkle up a bit when he smiles.
I’m hooked on Lou.
“I’m going to bed, babe.” Lou said, kissing the back of my neck before walking off towards our room. “I’ll be there in a few.” I said, smiling at his retreating form as he turned into the bedroom. I sighed to myself, smiling. I finished my tea and washed the mug.
I practically ran down the hallway and into the room, jumping into the bed. Lou turned to me and wrapped his arms around me, kissing my cheek. “I need to change.” I told him, giggling. he pouted, kissing my lips before letting me go. I got changed quickly, slipping back into the bed, under the covers with my boyfriend.
I turned so that I faced Lou and smiled at him. he pecked my lips and smiled at me. “I love you.” He whispered, pushing some of my hair out of my face.
“I love you, too.” I said to him. He smiled and kissed me. “Come on, we have an early morning tomorrow.” I said, rolling my eyes at him. No matter how much I hated it, we should be getting to sleep.
“Fine, night.” He said. I turned onto my side and snuggled into my sheets. I felt Lou wrap his arms around me and pull me back into him. I smiled, snuggling closer to him as we slept.
The bed moving a lot and the sound of heavy panting woke me up a bit from my deep slumber. I ignored it, sighing into my pillow.
I felt a hand grab my leg, then a sigh of relief as another hand grabbed my hip. “Elle?” Lou’s voice asked shakily. “Mmm? Lou?” I asked, lazily opening an eye to look at him. I couldn’t see him, considering no lights were on. He reached over and flipped on the lamp on the side table, looking back at me.
“Damn, what happened? Are you okay?” I asked, sitting up when i saw him. He looked like he was sweating and his face was pale. He shook his head and grabbed me, pulling me into his arms.
“Oh, thank God.” He whispered, burying his face in my hair. I wrapped my arms around him, rubbing circles on his back as he continued to grab onto me desperately. He pulled away from the hug and held my face in between his hands.
“Promise me something,” He said. He had gained the color back in his face and he seemed to be getting better. “What happened?” I asked curiously. “Just… nightmare.” He told me, shaking his head as if to forget about it.
“Promise me you won’t just get up and leave me.” He whispered, his eyes boring into mine. “If you want to leave me… tell me why. Please, don’t just go. I will never be able to handle that.” He whispered, closing his eyes for a brief moment before opening them again.
“I’m never leaving you for any reason.” I said, putting my hand on his, smiling a bit. “I love you, Lou. You won’t be able to get rid of me that easily.” I finished, blushing a bit.
“Promise?” He asked, his eyes desperately looking into mine. “I promise.” I said with a smile. He sighed with relief before pressing his lips to mine passionately.
“I love you so fucking much, Elle.” He said against my lips. “I love you too, Lou.” I said with a smile, kissing him again.
